POV: You’re a Fish
Interaction Design | Fall 2023
Project Goal: Develop an interactive aquarium exhibit that addresses a marine issue and encourages participants to take action.
Process: Under the guidance of Laura Perovich in my Topics in Interaction Design course at Northeastern University, I completed the ideation, research, design, and prototype testing to produce a new aquarium exhibit. The focus of our exhibit was endangered marine species.
PHASE 1
Research
Phase 1 of the project involved visiting the New England Aquarium to learn more about the marine issues it focuses on and the types of exhibits it hosts. During this phase, we selected endangered marine species as our key focus and documented inspiration for our new exhibit.
PHASE 2
Initial Sketches
Phase 2 involved creating initial concept sketches for our exhibit.
PHASE 3
First Iteration
Version 1 Concept
Phase 3 involved creating the first version of our exhibit and getting feedback from participants to make updates and modifications.
